Formigine tra storia e natura - passeggiata serale

An evening walk that will introduce us to the main historical, cultural and environmental aspects of the village of Formigine:
its castle dating back to the Middle Ages, the historic districts, the ancient churches and Villa Gandini, considered among the best preserved examples of "civilization in the villa" of the Modena area, with its adjoining historic park.

Points of interest:

The castle of Formigine dating back to the Middle Ages which is today the representative office of the Municipality of Formigine;
The ancient districts of the historic center, with churches and numerous brotherhoods;
Villa Gandini, one of the best preserved examples of "civilization in the villa" of the Modena area, with its adjoining historic park. The nineteenth-century landscape garden coexists with the modern one and presents together with a great variety of native plants also exotic species.
Possibility of a short final stop at the bar attached to the park, at the expense of the participants.

This activity is organized by Modenatur in collaboration with the Arianna Cultural Association which does not receive income from this initiative

 

Highlights

Modenatur reserves the right to cancel the visit due to force majeure. In this case the participants will be promptly notified and the reimbursement of the paid fee will be made.
