First Stage - From Modena to Parco dei Sassi di Rocca Malatina - 45 km
Cycle a historic section of the Via Strata on a captivating loop route starting from Modena and returning to Modena. The first stage unfolds on a flat route, starting from Modena and reaching the first hills above Vignola, following the cycle path and trekking trail that runs alongside the old railway and overlaps with the ancient Via Strata. Once in the hills, you can visit the visitor center and the "sasso della croce" of the Regional Park of Sassi Roccamalatina.
Second Stage - From Parco dei Sassi di Rocca Malatina to Modena - 45 km
The second stage winds through dirt roads with various ups and downs within the Sassi di Malatina Park, before descending towards the beautiful villages of Levizzano and Castelvetro. From there, the return journey is again on flat terrain back to Modena. During the second stage, there will be a stop at a Lambrusco winery for a guided tour of the winery and tasting.
