Secular fir trees, scenic panoramas and a glacial basin that holds a lake with crystalline waters with emerald green reflections, in one of the most naturalistic contexts of the Apennines. From the meeting point Bar Ristorante Lago della Ninfa we will walk on the right bank of the lake basin and we will tell you an ancient legend, then continue in the dense forest following the traces of wild animals, flanking and wading several small swollen streams from the waters of the thaw. We will leave the wood and we will cross an extensive grassy area to reach near a farmhouse Agriturismo Cervarola, we will climb in the direction of a very scenic step where we will make a short and deserved break with magnificent views of the Monte Cimone area and the Apennine mountain bolognese. We will continue going uphill towards a hill with gentle slopes through a thick pine forest, then we will retrace our steps varying the way forward to reach a refuge Rifugio del Firenze Ninfa and "plan" on the lake following the return to the left bank up at the starting point.
